The Heart Behind
"Hey Dad"

Hey Dad was created by Alan Rowland, a father who turned unimaginable loss into a mission to help others.

After years of watching his daughter Halie struggle with addiction, Alan experienced the pain, confusion, and isolation that so many dads face. When Halie’s life was tragically cut short, he made a promise, something good had to come from this.

That promise became Hey Dad, a safe, compassionate space where fathers can speak freely, be heard, and find strength in the company of other men who understand.

Through peer support, education, and advocacy, we help dads heal, grow, and find peace in knowing they are not alone. Because when a father finds strength, a family finds hope.
